What does the European Year of Skills mean for the open data community? What initiatives are available for you?

This webinar will introduce the European Year of Skills and explore the tools and platforms available for upskilling data literacy, emphasizing their significance in promoting digital and data skills development. It will also showcase how the data.europa academy can serve as a valuable resource for finding materials on legal standards, technical guidelines, economic research, and more.

After a brief presentation on the updated data.europa academy, which will look at the new restructuring and improved materials distribution, expert panelists from various sectors will share different types of digital and data learning initiatives available and being planned for citizens across Europe. The panelists will include representatives from the Digital Skills and Jobs Platforms, the Big Data Value Association Task force, and the Italian national data portal. Finally, the panelists will discuss the potential trends of digital upskilling, along with its challenges and opportunities.
