The European Commission is hosting a series of GovTech webinars in April-May 2026 aimed at strengthening the European GovTech ecosystem and fostering collaboration between innovative technology providers and public administrations across the EU.

️ As part of the series, this fourth webinar focuses on Public Procurement and Market Access, examining how governments can effectively engage with innovative GovTech solutions through modern procurement practices. The session will explore ways to improve access for start-ups and SMEs, including the adoption of new procurement models, the development of standardised proof-of-concept frameworks, and the simplification of tendering processes. It will also address cross-border initiatives, such as a prospective European GovTech Seal, as a means to foster collaboration and scale innovation across markets. The webinar aims to provide a space for sharing experiences and identifying approaches to make public procurement more accessible, efficient, and innovation-friendly.

The webinar will take place on 28 May, h. 10-11.30
