Join us for an insightful workshop, ‘How to use open data for your research’ where you will discover how open data can enhance your scholarly work. This session is scheduled for Friday, 25 October 2024, from 10:00 to 11:30 CEST.
In this workshop, experts from the Open Data Institute will showcase the potential of open data, guiding participants through the steps of a recent study they conducted using open data, and presenting their findings. Additionally, researchers from the University of the Aegean will explore the distinction between using open data in research and researching how open data itself can drive innovation and improvements. They will also present real-world use cases that illustrate the power of open data in academic research. Lastly, there will be a hands-on assignment to provide you with practical experience in locating and using open data.
