We are happy to invite you to the final webinar in the data.europa academy’s series on the Open Data Maturity (ODM) report 2022, titled: ‘Open Data Maturity 2022: Diving deeper into the impact dimension’. The session will take place online on Friday 27 October 2023 from 10.00 to 11.30 CET.

What is the Open Data Maturity report 2022 and what does its impact dimension entail? What various national approaches have been adopted in recent years to enhance this dimension?

The first webinar in the series discussed the key trends and progress of ODM across European countries. The second webinar focused on the ‘quality’ dimension of the report, featuring Slovenia and Ukraine, who shared their best practices on the respective dimension. The third webinar highlighted the national approaches of France and Poland concerning their national data portals and how they facilitate easy access to openly available datasets. The fourth webinar saw Italy and Estonia sharing best practices on the open data policies and strategies in place, as well as the national governance models used to manage open data.

This final session aims to provide a more in-depth look at the Open Data Maturity report 2022, with a specific focus on the impact dimension. This dimension considers the use and reuse of open data and it is crucial to understand how this reuse translates into value for citizens, businesses, and society. Countries are assessed on the following three indicators: strategic awareness, measuring reuse, and created impact (governmental, social, environmental, and economic).
