Dear working group members,
We would like to announce that we have made the Core Vocabularies and CPSV-AP available for public review. During the review period, ending on 01/03/2024, we will accommodate small editorial changes and bug fixes. After this review period, the release will become official. The specifications have been updated based on the GitHub issues and input during the webinar of 27 October 2023. In addition we would like to announce the latest release of ADMS 2.00.
More specifically we are making the following specification available for review:
- Core Business Vocabulary, v2.2.0, Changelog
- Core Location Vocabulary, v2.1.0, Changelog
- Core Public Event Vocabulary, v1.1.0, Changelog
- CCCEV, v2.1.0, Changelog
- CPSV-AP, v3.2.0, Changelog
- Core Person Vocabulary, v2.1.1, Changelog
- Core Public Organisation Vocabulary, v2.1.1, Changelog
- ADMS, v2.00, Changelog
Some highlights are:
- The ELF code list has been included in the Core Business vocabulary.
- A LocatorDesignator class has been added to the Core Location Vocabulary.
- An eventStatus property has been added to the Core Public Event Vocabulary.
- Evidence has been decoupled from DCAt:Dataset in CCCEV.
- The business event and life event code lists have been incorporated into CPSV-AP.
For an overview on all changes we would like to refer you to the Core Vocabularies’ respective changelogs.
In Addition to our standard release, we have updated the format of presenting our specifications. They are now all published using the ReSpec style. As part of this change examples have been added to all Core Vocabularies. Finally all specifications are now released under the CC-BY 4.0 licence. It must be highlighted that the Core Person and Public Organisation Vocabularies had no changes besides these.
We invite you to take a look and as always any issues, suggestions or requests can be posted on the GitHub issue page of the respective Vocabulary.
Best regards
The SEMIC team
